Youth Grown Partnerships

Youth Grown – Because Gardens Grow Good People

At Common Threads, we are committed to enhancing rather than replicating community resources. We gladly and frequently partner with other community agencies, and actively seek out partnerships with agencies serving low-income youth living in high risk circumstances - youth whose exposure to positive messages about health and nutrition is notoriously limited. Current partners include Rebound of Whatcom County (http://reboundwc.org) and the Max Higbee Center (http://maxhigbee.org).

We also proudly partner with Western Washington University, Whatcom Community College, the Bellingham School District, Let’s Move Blaine, the Whatcom Volunteer Center, and a growing number of public and private schools (see our School Garden page).

Interested in a partnership with Common Threads? We offer a spectrum from short-term consulting to full-service program implementation. Please contact info@commonthreadsfarm.org for more information.
