AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Common Threads offers after school programs at schools throughout the year. In reviewing school applications for after school clubs, we prioritize services to high-need schools, we try to share the love amongst as many schools as possible, and the earlier we receive your request the more likely we can fit you into our schedule.

We typically follow our in-school curriculum cycle and run the following clubs (though we can be flexible – ask if you have a different idea for your school!):

  • Gardening/Cooking Clubs
    • Fall: Garden until late October, then switch to cooking
  • Cooking Clubs
    • Winter: January-March
  •  Gardening Clubs
    • Spring: April-June

PROGRAM INFORMATION:

  • Typically 8 week sessions (though we have done anywhere from 4 weeks – 12 weeks)
  • Two age groups to choose from: K-2 or 3-5
  • Minimum 8 participants, maximum 16 participants
  • $12 per child per week cost (example: $96 per child for an 8-week session)
