Serves 7-8

Ingredients:

Black Bean Hummus:

  • 15 oz 1 can of black beans
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp salt

Garden Beds:

  • ¼ loaf of bread
  • Assorted Vegetables (carrots, green onions, tomatoes, olives)

Directions:

  1. Wash hands.
  2. For hummus: Combine beans, garlic, olive oil, tahini, lemon juice, cumin, and salt in a blender or food processor, and blend until mostly smooth.
  3. Cut bread slices into fourths.
  4. Spread hummus on bread, and add cut veggies to the top.
  5. Enjoy!
