As tasted at the 2017 Harvest Dinner!
Time: Prep time 15 minutes
Serves:4 -6
Ingredients:
- 3 medium beets
- 2 Tablespoons tahini (sesame seed paste)
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic
- ¼ cup olive oil
- Salt to taste
Materials:
- Cutting boards
- Mixing bowl
- Mixing spoon
- Measuring spoons
- Liquid measuring cup
- Masher
- Knife
What to Do:
- Roast whole beets in the oven at 375˚ until a knife inserts easily
- Peel the beets and then cut them into chunks, chop the garlic
- Mix all ingredients in large bowl and mash until well combined and reasonably smooth. Salt to taste.
